Ecuador Cotopaxi Climbing (5897 m) - 3 days / 2 nights
Cotopaxi is the most visited volcano of all Ecuador. The beautiful form and the impressive height are what attract lovers of mountainous areas. It's not extremely difficult to summit this volcano, and it is an experience that is not to be missed. The views from the summit are simply spectacular.
Day 1: After breakfast we travel southward from Quito to Machachi, a small village at the foot of the Rumiñahui Volcano. The trip continues through the valley of Limpiopungo heading into Cotopaxi National Park. Camp. |

| Day 2: Breakfast and hike up to the parking area at 4,600 m, from where we'll hike a short distance to the refuge and then eat lunch. In the afternoon we'll practice safety techniques for ascending the glacier. Rest in the refuge

Day 3: At about midnight, we begin our ascent along the north route of Cotopaxi, climbing to the peak. This is a hard ascent of about 7 to 8 hours. After being astounded by the views from the summit, we'll descend to the refuge. Return to Quito.
Ilinizas Climbing (5263 m) - 2 days / 1 night
The Ilinizas are among the most spectacular mountains of Ecuador. The south peak is covered by permanent snow and the ascent is one of the country's most appealing adventures.
Day 1: We'll leave the hotel very early and head south along the Pan-American Highway toward Machachi. We'll go to the estate The Refuge. From there, a three-hour trek brings us to the old cabin, then after hiking a few more hours we arrive at the foot of the south peak of the Ilinizas. We will rest here in the refuge.
Day 2: We rise early and begin our ascent along the standard route (Iliniza South). Though it is the simplest route, it offers you unforgettable views as we follow a relatively easy path through green meadows and snow bridges. The ascent lasts between 4 and 5 hours. Descend to the refuge. Return to Quito.
Chimborazo Climbing (6310 m) - 2 days / 1 night Chimborazo is the highest mountain in Ecuador and until recently it was believed to be the highest mountain in the world. It is very difficult to climb this mountain, but the view from the summit is simply unbeatable.
Day 1: Breakfast. Trip from Ambato to Riobamba. After about five hours we'll arrive at the Whymper Cottage (5,000m). Lodging.
Day 2: We will wake up in the middle of the night to begin the ascent to Chimborazo's summit (duration of 8 to 10 hours). Return to the cottage and then to Quito.
Cayambe (5790m) - 2 days / 1 night Located right on the equator, Cayambe is known as "Light Mountain." The dramatic glaciers and snowfields offer the visitor unforgettable moments and incomparable views. |
Day 1: Depart Quito and travel along the Pan-American Highway north to the village of Cayambe, two hours away. Turn off toward the mountain and begin a two-hour trek to the cabin at 4,800m. Rest.
Day 2: We'll arise very early to begin the ascent toward the summit. The ascent requires about six or seven hours. Descend to the cabin and return to Quito.
Parks Adventure Toachi river adventure Rafting
The Toachi River runs from the forests of the Andes west toward the wet tropical forests of the Ecuadorian coast. It is an area characterized by its great bio-diversity and natural beauty. The Toachi River is a class III river, with water volumes typically around 2,500 cubic feet per second, at a gradient of 20 feet per kilometer. We will leave early in the morning for a 2 and a half hour trip from Quito for Santo Domingo de los Colorados through the slopes of the wet Andean forest, eventually arriving at the Toachi River. After receiving the appropriate safety instructions, we will navigate 20 km of whitewater. Depending on the water level, our trip could take around 3 hours. Along the route we will pass through spectacular rainy forests and see the abundance of diverse fauna. The adventure comes to an end with a delicious lunch after which we will return to Quito. With a minimum party size of four people, this tour can be extended up to two days, staying in tents.
